| Perhaps one of my favorite things about the Australia program was the way in which academics were approached. For example, during our Coral Reef Ecosystems class, Dr. Ove Hoegh-Guldberg and Dr. Mary Alice Coffroth, world experts on coral bleaching and disease provided our lectures. | I was once told that the best thing you could do while at Stanford was to in fact, leave. I love Stanford campus, so I was curious to see how anything could possibly be better than it. I applied for the Shakespeare Seminar in Oxford and the Australia abroad program. I was accepted to both and thus began one of those incredible, unforgettable, Summer of ‘69esque, ‘those were the best days of my life.’Read full profile » | ||
