Stanford Global Studies
The Global Studies Minor is available to Stanford undergraduates from any major, and is designed to provide students with the opportunity to pursue interdisciplinary study in one of six specializations: African Studies, European Studies, Iranian Studies, Islamic Studies, Latin American Studies, and South Asian Studies. Students are required to complete 28 units, including a three-unit gateway course. The remaining 25 credits are unique to each specialization. Upon completion of the minor, students present their capstone projects in a seminar with other Global Studies Minor participants. Many past students have used their time with BOSP to count toward these requirements.
